SAKKAN CHAMORU
Opake Guam
Members of local company, Opake Guam, visited AsTumbo Elementary on February 28 to do an outreach for our 3rd to 5th grade students. They spoke about their humble beginnings of creating art with pencils and paper to a now larger scale of murals in different areas of our island. In addition to murals, they also print their artwork in a variety of ways such as t-shirts, hats, and skateboards. They also spoke to our students of the importance of being positive and respectful to not only themselves but to the environment around them. Thank you for visiting our school and inspiring our children to express themselves in a positive way.
