On March 30, 2019, AsTumbo Elementary participated in the annual Weaving Competition at the Agana Shopping Center. Student representatives from four grade levels competed against the other elementary schools and took first in both divisions. Congratulations to all our student participants. The CHamorro Committee would like to thank all those who came out to support our students.

2019 Kadon Pika Competition

The AsTumbo Elementary School team competed on Saturday, March 9th at the Island-wide Kadon Pika Competition against other participating school teams. Our three fifth grade students represented us proudly and their hard work and dedication earned them 2nd Place overall. Congratulations to Adrian, Kayla, Heaven and their supporting coaches and CHamoru teachers.

2018 ATES Kadon Pika Competition
AsTumbo Elementary School’s Annual Kaddon Pika Competition was held on Friday, February 16, 2018 with four teams competing for the spot to represent our school. Kudos to our participating 5th grade kids and their parents for their hard work and efforts before and during the evening event. Congratulations to our first place winners who will be competing at the Islandwide Kadon Pika Competition.

ATES recieves 1st Place in the Inacha'ikak Yininga'(Theme Poster) Competition
AsTumbo Elementary participated in the Inacha'ikak Yininga' (Theme Poster) Contest and we placed in the Category Hugua. Eleina Reyes from Astumbo Elementary School came in 1st and was present at the Guam Legislature for the signing of the resolution on March 4th. Kadon Pika at AsTumbo Elementary
AsTumbo Elementary had its second Kadon Pika Competition where three student-teams competed for the opportunity to represent the school at the Geran Kadon Pika on Saturday, March 12, 2016.

Geran Kadon Pika!!!
The ATES Chamorro Program with 3rd, 4th, 5th grade honor our Veterans.
Thank you to our Chamorro teachers and our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade for preparing a presentation for the men and women in the armed forces.
In honor of our men and women who train and fight for the freedom of our nation and our island, the AsTumbo Elementary Chamorro Program prepared and presented with the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students a ceremony to our military guests.
We would like to thank the military for all they do to protect our island, our country, and the freedoms we hold dear.
